Understanding the grounding of your foot affects the coordination of the leg and the spine. Irmagard Bartenieff’s Fundamentals: Pelvic Shift Forward and Lateral is about how the legs transfers the body in space. It is an intricate dance of the muscles of the feet, calves, thigh and spine muscles. Some clients lead forward with their upper spine. When there is dysfunction, this affects the knees, hips and back.

Call to Legs: Distal Relationship to Core 3 hrs. May 1, 2021 Saturday 2 – 5:10 PM. $150 To register for workshop
Call to Legs is a workshop exploring the connections of the distal: foot and ankle mechanics to the core. We are addressing balancing the foot and ankle muscles that influences our entire alignment. Our ankles influence our foot, hip and core mechanics. When the Distal relationship is working correctly, the core immediately works deeper.
